Austin Andrews is an award-winning director and editor with experience on a variety of film, television and documentary projects. Credits as director include a feature-length drama, commercials for Samsung, LG and Globalstar Australia, and several acclaimed short films. Among those, the fable How My Next Door Neighbour Discovered Life On Mars screened at festivals on every continent and won over fifteen awards, and the candy-coloured comedy Kite Circuit premiered at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. A three-time Telly Award winner, Austin also won the prestigious Warner Roadshow Queensland New Filmmaker of the Year award in 2006. He recently directed the Studio Movement’s short Frog, starring Allison Mack from Smallville.
A three-time Telly Award-winning editor, Austin has cut over thirty hours of series and commercial television for Global, Bravo! and A&E, including such internationally syndicated programs as Inside Entertainment and Hollywood’s 10 Best This Week. His acclaimed photography work has appeared in the online editions of National Geographic and TIME, and in print in Foreign Policy and Intersection magazines.
